Fever And its Pattern in different diseases

Hii Friends, Fever is a very common symptom as we have discussed earlier, so if fever does not subsides even after taking medications (more than 3 days) Consult the Doctor.

Here I am gonna tell some different patterns of fever which may help you in observing and representing your History to The Doctors. (What is History click here to read)

Fever: It is an elevation of body temperature above the normal circadian variation as a result of the change in the thermoregulatory center, located in the hypothalamus.

Maximum normal oral temperature
At 6:00 am 37.0 degree C (98.6 degree F)
At 6:00 pm 37.6 degree C (99.6 degree F)

Fever with decreased heart rate
1: Typhoid
2: Meningitis
3: Viral Fever (influenza)
4: Brucellosis

Fever with exanthems Rashes
1: Rash appearing first day - Chicken Pox
2: Rash appearing Fourth day - Measles
3: Rash appearing seventh day - Typhoid

Patterns of fever in common disease

Bacterial infection: Normal fever mostly subsided by medications like Symptomatic (Paracetamol) and antibiotics

Typhoid: Stepladder type of fever, fever does not subsides, even it increases day by day.

Maleria: In case of maleria, fever comes alternate day or in the following pattern

First day then third day

Or

First day then Fourth day.

The fever is also associated with Chills and rigor (rigor means vibration of body, you can understand like when you feel cold you vibrates, that is Rigor)

So this was the knowledge I want to share with you because it is important to you to have view and observe the different patterns of fever which may help you while you consult The Doctor it is important to give Perfect History.

Just chill Mostly fever is self limited it could be either Bacterial or Viral, just take Paracetamol, you will be totally cured within 2-3 days.

If fever remains more than 3 days even after medication then Consult Doctor.

More and More Perfect your History, More and More Rapid Our Diagnosis.

Hello Friends, most of you are not aware what the History is in medical science.
But for Doctors it is the first and most important step for the Diagnosis of a disease.

Fever, it is a symptom not a disease so how we will say what is the cause of fever?
Fever occurs in Viral (Dengue, influenza etc.) Bacterial (Typhoid, E.coli infection, shigella, pseudomonas, staphylococcal infection, food poisoning etc.) Protozoal (maleria, leishmaniasis etc.) Amoebical (Entamoeba hystolytica, giardiasis etc.) Parasitical (Asceriasis, filariasis etc.)

There are 1000s of disease in which fever occurs, if fever remains after 3-4 days even after symptomatic medications (Paracetamol) Always Consult Doctor.

I am Gonna write a separate blog On FEVER.

So 1000s of disease with almost similar symptoms, but Doctors can rule out and conclude the Perfect diagnosis.
Diagnosis of a disease also have your contribution.

How?

Your History!!!!

As a patient enters in a Doctor's room, Doctor use to asks cheif complaints, duration of symptoms, whole history of symptoms that how the symptoms appear, followed by, does it subsided by medications, your personal habbit, eating habits, past history of any other treatments, family history, etc.
This is known as history.

As I told, most of disease have mostly similar symptoms but.......
In a different Way!!!!!

So on the basis of your History, Doctor compares your symptoms (what patient tells to doctor) with signs (what doctor observe in patient's body) and then Doctor proceeds to further investigations and then finally Treatment.

H.I.T. :-  H = History + examination
                I  = Investigation
                T = Treatment

H.I.T. Is the rule and a way for Doctors to treat the patient.

Here we can see, the first step for diagnosis is History that You represents.
So Friends, Always Tell perfect History, as  Doctor asks, tell everything what you observe without any hesitation.

This will help You as well as Doctor for the perfect and rapid diagnosis.

Distractions: And how to Avoid it.

Hello Friends, as I had promised, I have completed on the Topic "Distraction"
I have talked about it in earlier topic so here we gonna focus on main points, mainly the solutions.

Introduction is been discussed earlier.

Classification of Distractions on the different basis

1 :- Social Distractions
2 :- Gadget Distractions
3 :- Physical or Health Distractions
4 :- Mind or Brain Distractions
5 :- Financial Distractions.

These are the types under most of the people faces Distractions frequently.

Let me give example of each and finish it briefly,

Social Distractions :- Over joying with Friends, Over hanging out, People distracting you from your work or studies, fell in love, etc. Every social things Distracting you. Comes under social Distractions.

Gadget Distractions :- Over using phone, social media, chatting, gaming, movies etc. See I am not saying to not to use Phones or not to see movie. Do everything, but in limit!!

Physical or health Distractions :- Health is wealth, A good mind stays in healthy body. Beacuse of ill health, People get distracted from routine work.

Mind or Brain Distractions :- If your mind is not fixed, in you cant control your mind, this will definitely distrats you from your work.

Financial Distractions :- #Friends I am Gonna write another blog on this topic as Demanded by Mr. SUMIT VERMA, so Thanks Sumit this gonna be a Good blog to discuss.

These were the Types of Distractions mostly people faces.

SOLUTIONS :-

Solution Of Avoiding Distractions are in 5 steps:

Step 1 - Meditation: Only 10 minutes of meditation per day will change a lot in your Power of concentration.
The purpose of Meditation is to fix your mind. This practice might be tough in starting but if you keep on doing, Within one week, you gonna see a lot of changes. Personally saying Your concentration power will be multiplied than earlier.

Step 2 - Health: Good Mind stays in Healthy body. Exercise daily, Avoid junk foods, drink plenty of water etc. (How to be Energetic whole Day)

Step 3 - Purpose of study/work: Always know and Keep remembering the Purpose of your work or Passion, The purpose will keep you stuck on your work, and every Distraction will be nothing Infront of it.

Step 4 - Keep on applying "Dopaminergic theory of reward" on your work.
This is my favorite one.

Step 5 - Less respond to Distractions: You dont Need to respond distractive things or People. Because, The Less you talk about Negativity, The More Positive you Become. (Read This: POSITIVITY)

So think about your work!! It will make internal environment in your brain about your work/studies. You will be more focused.

"POSITIVITY" It will really change your life, Not within one day But Day By Day!!

Hello Friends, as I promised I have completed my project on the topic POSITIVITY.

So lets begin

We all know about positivity, you have read a lot on Internet and Magazines or News Papers. So here as a Doctor I am Gonna tell scientific and Medical related benefits of POSITIVE THINKING.

Example to Test, are you Optimistic (Positive thinker) or Pessimistic (Negative thinker) :- What would you like to choose, I have a half filled glass or Half empty glass?

If you choose Half filled Glass, then you are definitely Optimistic, A Positive Thinker.

Positive thinking does not means you are ignoring negativity, it means You are Practical thinker, You are happy, you find everywhere positivity and Spreading Positivity.

Health Benefits of Positivity

2: Lower rates of depression

4: Greater resistance to the common cold

5: Better psychological and physical wellbeing.

How to be Positive?

Tricks to be Positive us expressed under 5 steps.

Step 1:- Engagement

Engage yourself in Postive and Happy situations.

Step 2:- Self talking technique.

This is one of the most talked topic, that if you find any negative thoughts in your mind so dont ignore that, ignoring means you are suppressing it for a while. Just go through that topic and then convert it with a practical Answer to the Positive one.
Example, If you thinks what if I failed? So ignoring this thought or saying no I will not fail is not a solution, go through the thought and say, it doesn't matters that I fail or pass, the matter is I am doing my KARMA with full efforts and passion, I will become deserving one day, and will get the success. So this is called the Positive thinking.

Step 3:- Be humorous

This is obvious, more humorous you get, More Positive you Become. Because you are not dealing with negative stress, You are more positive, you are more Fresh.
Smile and laugh even in Bad situations too. BTW There is no bad situation, Because what happens, Happens for Good. You do not like it now, but Tomorrow you will Thankful of it and strong because of it. So enjoy every moment.

Step 4:- Follow healthy life style.

Exercise, Good diet, Plenty of water drinking makes you Positive and Happy... How? It provides nutrition to Brain which Gets Healthy And functions Actively, Properly, and you Become More practical, Positive, and Happy.

Step 5:- Surround Yourself with Positive People.

Yes, company matters a lot, as I have described in my earlier topic "How to get rid of Homesickness" Negative people will always talk about negative things, so as I always say Either Dominate them or Leave them. Surround yourself with positive people makes you too positive.

Truth of One of the most used Medicine ASPIRIN, and why not to use it until prescribed by Registered Medical Practitioner!?

Aspirin, Disprin etc. Are the medicine which were used on a wide scale for the most common reason fever, headache etc.

These medicine contains Aspirin which is Salicylate comes under the category of NSAIDs, the category in which Paracetamol comes.

So what is the difference that b/w Paracetamol and Aspirin, And why to Prefer Paracetamol in spite of Aspirin.

Answer :- COX 2 cycle is responsible for the headache and fever because of Prostaglandin synthesis.

Aspirin blocks the COX 1, COX 2 and as well as TXA (thromboxigenase cycle) and works as Analgesic and Antipyretic.

The disadvantage is it blocks TXA cycle which is responsible for the coagulative property, which helps to stop profuse bleeding. So Aspirin Blocks TXA and causes Bleeding problem.
So in case of Dengue people takes Aspirin for fever which cause Dengue Haemorrhagic syndrome which also may leads to death.

Paracetamol preferentially blocks COX 2 and not to TXA, and hence works specifically for Fever and Headache purposes.

So everyone should prefer PARACETAMOL, not to aspirin !!

How to get rid of "Homesickness"

This is the problem of most of the Students who study far from their Home. They use to think about home (cry, emotional, want to go their home frequently etc.) during their study period which impairs their work.

So today I am Gonna tell you Tricks (3 steps) to Programme your mind and be practical  related to these stuffs.


Step 1 :- Be strong, Be leader
Firstly you have to think that you are Strong Enough to handle any situation. Because tomorrow you gonna be a responsive person, So be strong and think that you are much more superior than others who are home sick.


Step 2 :- Give commands to your brain
During starting period you might face some problems, but keep on giving command to your brain that "I am strong because I am Me and I can Control myself in any Situation.


Step 3 :- Leave or dominate the company of home sick
Yes, this is true, the person who is homesick will keep on talking about the problems. So the surrounding of yours cause impact on your brain and you also started behaving like them. You have to do this much either leave those negative persons or Dominate on them and say I am here to study and "I am strong enough to control myself in any situation"

These things will Give commands to your Brain and Your Brain start accepting this, And all your Homesickness will gone.
So Be practical and do your work, Love your parents Ultimately you are studying for them only So "Keep on Working and Make your Parents Proud"

5 Easy Steps How to be Energetic whole Day

Recently I got a question, that some people faces weakness and sleepiness during day time and during their work, so I thought to publish this Question and its answer to everyone.

Daily routine 5 steps for being energetic whole day.


Step 1 :- Get a good sleep at night (~7 hrs)

A person should sleep atleast 5 hrs and maximum 8 hrs.... Less or more than this will leads to the sleepiness during day time, Yes sleeping more also cause weakness and lethargy during day time.
Make a daily schedule for bed time


Step 2 :- Daily morning basic exercise

Simple morning exercise (Jogging, Morning walk, rope skipping) Makes your brain active and you feel fresh whole day.


Step 3 :- Consume a Good diet

Consuming a good diet is very important to be Energetic whole Day... Good diet helps to maintain Glucose which gives us energy for our brain and muscles, Daily consumption of fibre (salad) are also important which maintain our Digestive System.


Step 4 :- Stay away from overeating

Overeating also makes you lethargic and causes sleepiness because of increase blood flow to GIT and less to Brain


Step 5 :- Drinking plenty of water (Be hydrated)

Drinking water (5-6 lit.) helps you a lot. Daily amount of drinking water approx 5-6 litres is a best for your health.
Keeos you hydrated, Glows your skin, Maintain digestive tract, detoxifies you body, Activates you... And much more.
So these are the simple Steps which will help you of being Energetic whole day.

Not to Afraid From Ghost, By reading this you will ultimately Love the Ghosts

We all know that This whole world is made by God, And God exist everywhere even in my heart, In your heart, in the air, in the particle of soil, Everywhere...

So why not in the Ghost...

God exist even in Ghost...

Ghost are some how notorious...

But from inside, Ghost too are Sweet and Pure...

We all are creations of The God... Similarly Ghosts are also Creations Of The God.... Its our misunderstanding that Ghost are bad...
And this makes us to be afraid from them... Which impairs our routine works during late night as being alone at night (The solution of this problem was asked to me)...

These texts are removing the Fear from Ghosts Because you are not here to Afraid, You are here to do your KARMA, spread love and Happiness....
